About the artist
Shawna Kirsch is an illustrator and printmaker based in Sheboygan Falls, WI. In 2018 she earned a BFA in illustration from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. She currently works as an Artist for Kohl’s Corporate on their home art team. There, she makes art for brands such as Sonoma, Vera Wang, Little Co by Lauren Conrad, Celebrate Together, St Nicholas Square, Food Network, Big One Kids, and Big One.
As an artist on the autistic spectrum, her personal work reflects her color taste in using very calming, subtle, and soft tones. Her special interest is focused around fish but can expand to wildlife in general.
She is accompanied in her art making process by the ever so helpful Maple, a young brussels griffon with a passion for walks and scrounging through leaves.
